To choose a lender simply based upon the rate that they offer can potentially lead to higher interest rates, as well as undue frustration and possible delays in the funding of your property. Be sure your lender considers all factors that go into quoting an interest rate, and are able to stand behind their quote.

While you are considering the purchase of a new home or exploring new financing on your current home, you should not do anything that will have an adverse affect on your loan from this point through the rest of the process.
